Big Ten Leads First TYR/CSCAA Dual Meet Poll

The University of Michigan Women and Indiana University Men top the first College Swimming Coaches Association of America / TYR Top 25 Swimming & Diving Poll.  Rankings are compiled by CSCAA-member coaches and released on a bi-weekly basis.

"It is an honor to be recognized as the number one team.  I believe the last time we held this ranking was at the end of the 1973 season," explained Coach Looze.

The polls are a reflection of teams' relative dual meet strength, something that wasn't lost on Looze.

"We realize as a program the most important ranking is the last one and will work hard to finish as highly as possible.  All our swimmers and divers are excited to have the NCAA championships at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis."

The next polls will be released November 9, 2016.
