CSCAA Announces NJCAA All-American Honors

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the NJCAA All-Americans for the 2022-2023 season. The awards come following the NJCAA national championship meet earlier this month. 

The Indian River men won the 2023 team title after amassing 1,274 points ahead of 10 teams. Southwestern Oregon finished as the men's runner-up. 

The 2023 NJCAA Male Swimmer of the Meet award was presented to William Beckstead-Holman of Indian River. Sam Hlavachek of Indian River was awarded the 2023 NJCAA Male Diver of the Meet award.  Sandra Bullock is named the 2023 NJCAA Swim Coach of the Year award after leading Southwestern Oregon to a second-place finish overall. The Men's Diving Coach of the Year went to John Rodman from Monroe CC.

On the women's side, Indian River took home the 2023 NJCAA Swimming & Diving Championship title. Southwestern Oregon finished runner up while Barton finished third. Monroe CC and Genesee tied for top non-scholarship teams.

Gina Miller of Indian River State and Maria Goncalves of Iowa Central where selected as Co-Swimmers of the Meet. Madison Price of Indian River earned the Diver of the Meet recognition. Once again, Sandra Bullock was named Swimming Coach of the Year while John Rodman from Monroe CC was Diving Coach of the Year. 
 

CSCAA All-Americans are selected on the basis of their finish at the NJCAA Championships and a team's current membership with the CSCAA.  Only student-athletes who competed in their championship finals are eligible for All-America Honors.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the first professional association of college coaches in the United States.  The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
