2025 Meet Information
The 2025 CSCAA National Invitational Championship will once again be hosted at the FAST Facility in Ocala, Florida; March 13-15, 2025. The Hilton Ocala is the headquarter hotel for the 2025 National Invitational. Teams can use this booking link to make reservations. A complete list of local hotels with CSCAA rooming blocks is available above.
In April 2017, the NCAA approved an exemption for the NIC meet and practices leading up to it. Institutions may extend their season beyond the primary playing and practice season. The NIC provides a post season championship event for Division I swimmers and divers that have achieved B/Zone standards, but are not selected for the NCAA Division I Championships. Teams intending to attend the 2025 NIC meet should RSVP above.
Individuals and relays may qualify for the CSCAA National Invitational Championship by winning their respective event(s) at a bona-fide collegiate conference championship. In addition, any individual or relay team who equals or surpasses the CSCAA ‘A’ standard during the qualifying period shall be eligible to compete at the Championship.
Relays
Teams do NOT have to use their fastest relay time for meet entry. Actual or aggregate relay times may be used.
Relay times, once achieved, belong to the team. Any swimmer may participate on a relay at the meet.
Teams with four individual qualifiers may enter any relay with their best time if it does not meet the meet qualifying time.
Teams may enter more than one relay, but only the “A” relay will be allowed to score.
Teams may bring a substitute relay swimmer should a qualifying relay member be unavailable. Those swimmers may enter events for which they have a B time standard.
Bonus Events
Swimmers who qualify for the meet automatically may also enter individual events if they have achieved the CSCAA ‘B’ standard during the qualifying period.
Additional Pool Availability:
For teams arriving before Wednesday, the pool is available at the times listed below, and no reservation is required. Pool access is $5 per athlete, and each athlete will need to sign a waiver. Waivers can be completed in advance.

Previous National Invitational Championship Results:
The National Invitational Championship (NIC) debuted in 2014 with around 110 swimmers from six teams. Since then, it has grown into the largest collegiate postseason championship, now welcoming an average of 700 swimmers and divers from across all Division I conferences. More than 60 institutions participate each year, providing teams with valuable postseason championship experience. The 2020 NIC was cut short after one day of competition and was not held in 2021 due to COVID-19.
