CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams Named

The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected a record 1,069 swimmers and divers for its Scholar All-America team. The selections recognize students that have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have participated in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.  Among the selections include CSCAA NCAA Division I Swimmers-of-the-Year Caeleb Dressel and Ella Easton.

476 Schools Earn Academic Recognition

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has named 710 teams to its Scholar All-America list for the Spring 2018 Semester.  The teams represent 476 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions.  To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the Semester that coincides with the national championships.

In Memorium: Tony Lisa

Over the weekend we lost a fellow coach, a friend, a mentor, and someone who brought a lot of joy to our sport.  Tony Lisa was not only a coach at his alma mater, Rowan University or Glassboro State as it was known when Tony stalked the soccer pitch for the Profs, he was also a president of the CSCAA, a shoulder to lead on in hard times and someone who was always learning.  His obituary is linked below, but I wanted to share some words from his former colleagues:
