Based on recommendations provided by the State of Ohio, spectators will not be permitted to attend the National Invitational Championship (NIC) at Cleveland State University. Although no cases of coronavirus have been detected on the University campus, the decision to not admit spectators is a preventive effort that aims to minimize the potential for exposure.

Compared to other Division I collegiate sports, swimming and diving seems to have a definite gender imbalance within head coach roles. According to the Tucker Center of The University of Minnesota, in season 2018-2019 only 16% of head coaches in swimming were female.
