The nominees for the National Collegiate Scholastic Trophy were announced today by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA). The trophy is awarded by both the CSCAA and National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association (NISCA). It is the highest honor in intercollegiate and interscholastic swimming and diving and awarded to the individual who has made "the greatest contribution to swimming as a competitive sport, and as a healthful, recreational activity in the province of undergraduate and scholastic education.”

The CSCAA Spring Championship Series will be held at multiple sites over multiple weekends. The competition will be open between April 8-25. Results from each site will be combined and published in a comprehensive set of results.

Bluffton University will add swimming and diving as an intercollegiate sport for the 2021-22 academic year. The Beavers become the eighth men’s and fourth women’s program scheduled to dive in next season. Bluffton is NCAA DIII school and competes as part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. With Bluffton's addition of men's and women's swimming and diving, seven schools in the HCAC will offer the sport.
